Integrated actuators have been designed, tested and produced for many commercial, defense and business jet programs such as the F-5, F-16, F-18, V22, Global Hawk, A350 XWB, 747 and 767.
Our engineering team utilizes project management tools, solid modeling, and electronic file interchange to effectively manage, communicate and deliver on time and on budget.
CAI's engineers have an extensive history of developing actuators for various aircraft systems, including door and landing gear deployment, as well as other specialized actuation applications for mission and flight critical systems.
The F-16 Nose Wheel Steering Actuator's design improves aircraft availability, reliability and significantly reduces installation time. CAI's new steering actuator design eliminates side load bending of the guide rod, bending of the potentiometer shaft and potentiometer exposure to harsh environmental conditions. This configuration has successfully received USAF approval, completed qualification testing and flight testing and is now in production for immediate deliveries.
